Calling all writers: are you sick and tired of the same glorified lizards? Well so is MS Manz, and he is looking for short fiction that reimagines the mythical dragon. If you need a new project or a new story to write — throw together a 4 to 16k word story (he’d prefer 6-8k but he’s flexible) and send it on over to us at Anthology Club. But before that, a few words from Mr. Manz himself.
The story should feature (a) dragon(s) as the central element of the story, or at least a pivitol one, but do so in a way that breaks the mold. I’d rather not see Smaug on a pile of gold unless you can do it in a way that makes it seem fresh and new.
I really mean it about Any Genre – I’d love to see some non-fantasy stories in here. Genre mash-ups are more than welcome.
