Good morning readers! Today, we’re going to explore a few choice pieces from a few choice blogs.

Often, we see the apathy of one deeply affect the spirit of another. With this read from Bruce Goodman, sink your teeth into some literary flash — dazzling as it is poignant. “Lost wisdoms” is another good read, Mr. Goodman.

Also, I’d like to give a round of applause for Mr. Goodman — he has appeared on both of the first two installments of this segment. I didn’t even realize it til I had drawn up the tweet. Good work, sir.

Ooo. J. Milburn. WordPress’ own master writer is famous for churning out considerably high quality reads with high frequency. In “Larks Fell Silent,” he works with prosody to deliver a fantastic and short narrative of a naive girl who ventures out into the woods. Unfortunately for her, nighttime ushers in a new guiding light…a must read.

“Uncle Ed.” A witty and fulfilling read. Revisits the idea of the “tale-tale-teller” in a modern context. But, don’t let my words dissuade you — it’s an accessible read full of humor. Great work, vanyieck.

Lloyd P. Flores is a young writer with not only a lot of ambition for his shorts, but the craft supports him. He was able to capture the moment of poignancy in music — that moment where all notes are silent, heavy, and overburdening, — and wrote a fantastic short memoir. It’s a hard hitter, written from the perspective of a piano player with a story to tell. Don’t miss it.

“Old Women in Shoe Houses” punches you right where a drabble should. You see, KZ Morano is no novice — she works crazy but effective twists into her prose to turn an old nursery rhyme into a thriller. “She had so many children,” but she figured out how to deal with them. 😉

And, to top off today’s 6 Incredible Blogs Before Breakfast, a fantastic story about Lester, the hooky-player and cigarette-smoker. Lots of nostalgia in this one, and a fitting end to a day of literature. Thanks for a great read, Allen.

And there you have it. Great fiction, a few long reads this time around. As this ball gets a rolling, remember that I’ve got a blog-hop going for second-chances on your less read pieces. Click on the frog to submit, and I’ll blog you into notoriety with a review.

Thanks for joining me, I’ll see you next time.
